Description: Faithful Friends invites individual architects, architectural firms, contractors, interior designers, high school and college-level design students, and local artists and designers to employ their creative talents in the design and construction of indoor or outdoor dog houses/cat condos, dog and cat sculptures, frame-able art and a new category just added for 2009…”dog and cat bed furniture!”
In addition to the live auction of these unique designer structures, Barketecture 2009 includes a silent auction, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails (cash bar) and music. Prizes will be awarded for the best dog houses and cat condos. Can’t make our evening of “art for the animals?” We are accepting silent auction items.
All proceeds from Barkitecture 2009 benefit homeless dogs and cats in Delaware served by Faithful Friends Inc., a no kill animal shelter located in Wilmington, Delaware
